Alice Victoria Sloan was born on the first day of winter, June 1989.

On the last day of winter, 31st August 2005, Alice lost her life at the beautiful and exciting age of sixteen.

Alice was on a greatly anticipated school outdoor education trip with much loved friends when her life was taken instantly by a falling tree.

Alice touched the lives of everyone she met through her outgoing nature and made the most of all of life’s opportunities while fostering fun and friendship.

Alice’s love of outdoor education, sport and the arts inspire the focus of the Trust as we aim to provide young people with similar opportunities.

Alice is always at the heart of the Trust.
